Position Opening: Development Assistant
• Full-time • Hourly Non-Exempt. Rate of pay between $16.34 to $19.23 per hour, based upon experience and qualifications.

The Development Associate lends critical attention to detail and stakeholder management that supports the organization’s efforts to generate community support for its work. This position works closely with other members of the Development Team and cultivates relationships within the organization to triage requests, respond to inquiries, and advance a culture of philanthropy. The Development Associate is eager to help people fulfill their desires to contribute to empowering those affected by domestic violence and to represent the organization at community events throughout Dane County. This position is scheduled for standard daytime hours, though some evenings and weekends are necessary depending on the needs of the programs.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred though relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Excellent relationship building, problem solving, professional judgement, and time management skills required.
• Excellent computer skills including knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people and to positively influence change required.
• Detail orientation, organizational skills, punctuality, and dependability required.
• Knowledge of database management (e-tapestry or Raiser’s Edge is a plus) preferred.
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
