We need a talented communicator who is passionate about the arts at UW-Madison and has the social media skills, content creation, and writing ability to help us engage diverse audiences using social media channels, and other digital strategies. The Division of the Arts unifies and catalyzes the arts at UW-Madison, supports and promotes the missions of the academic arts departments and affiliated partners, fosters interdisciplinary collaborations, deepens the student experience, builds community engagement, and advocates for inclusion, diversity, equity, and access across the arts. The Division of the Arts is an administrative unit that reports to the Provost's Office. Led by a faculty director, the Division of the Arts is the only campus-wide unit solely dedicated to the arts.
As a staff member of the Division, you will report to our Multimedia Designer, and work collaboratively with the Integrated Marketing & Communications team and campus partners to support digital and social media marketing objectives for the arts at UW programs, initiatives, and events.

Education:
Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Studies in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Communication Arts, Visual Communication, or related fields preferred.

Minimum $45,000 ANNUAL (12 months), Depending on Qualifications
The expected salary range for this part-time (20 hours per week), entry-level position is $22,500 up to $27,500 annually (equivalent to $45,000 up to $55,000 full time) for highly experienced candidates. Actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications.
