Summary

Credit Union National Association is excited to announce an opening for a Marketing Manager, B2B to join their Credit Union Awareness team and be responsible for the acquisition, engagement, and retention of credit union participants. This position supports the business development team by developing and executing marketing plans that result in awareness and lead generation for the Your Money Further marketing program. This person will serve as both an educator and guide to credit union program participants in the local activation of the program.

This position is fully remote-based out of any of the following states: Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the annual marketing acquisition plan that supports the business development team in acquiring new credit union participants.
  • Manage B2B social media channels with a focus on engagement quality metrics.
  • Develop marketing materials that support the acquisition and retention goals such as presentations, one-sheets, dashboards, etc.
  • Work with CUNA digital marketing to execute an acquisition plan across email and website channels.
  • Create a regular cadence of reporting on goals and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing engagement and content plan.
  • Develop and execute new participant onboarding plans.
  • Consult with and guide credit unions in local program implementation including proactive outreach and communication with credit unions to include check-ins, new campaign features, benefits, marketing ideas, assets, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing assets to meet credit union needs.
  • Partner with credit unions to develop state-level case studies and testimonials for use in acquisition.
  • Develop and implement cadence of program performance updates with stakeholders.
  • Develop content strategy for Contributor Headquarters ensuring new features and fresh content quarterly.
  • Develop analytics and reporting to better understand participant engagement and opportunities for outreach.
  • Review and approve custom assets to ensure they meet brand guidelines.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, performance reviews, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing required, preferably B2B or e-commerce or a related field with proven success in lead generation and engagement.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Content Management Systems (CMSs), Google Analytics, Salesforce, Canva, Social Media and email platforms/marketing automation.
  • Ability to learn new systems and make recommendations for enhancements to drive greater team success.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and work independently to prioritize needs that arise and require immediate attention.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and ability to communicate results of large, national campaigns in front of C-level stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of the credit union industry is a plus.
  • Exposure to business development for a SASS company or marketing agency is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 15 days per year.
