Digital Media Manager

Credit Union National Association is excited to announce an opening for a Digital Media Manager role. This role develops and implements highly effective, multi-channel paid digital media campaigns to maximize conversions and acquire new consumers. This role also develops and implements publisher monetization strategies.
This position is fully remote based out of any of the following states: Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

  • Develops and executes the digital media program including channel strategy, analysis, optimization, budget management and reporting.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations on channel strategy across paid social, paid search, display, discovery, influencers, affiliate, publishers, etc.
  • Collaborates with content team on social influencer programs.
  • Drives optimization, media efficiencies and innovation through A/B testing, new channel development, and close monitoring of program and industry trends.
  • Coordinates and executes media buy efforts with local, national, and innovative partners where appropriate to amplify and support community level activities.
  • Collaborates on the creation of media creative assets, working closely with content and designers.
  • Educates credit unions on best practices for paid media.
  • Generates in-depth reporting and insights on media performance including onsite conversion funnel and web analytics.
  • Provides actionable campaign insights to both internal teams and key stakeholders.
  • Monitors industry trends, identifies practical application opportunities and ensures best practices are met in the day-to-day execution of paid media channels.
  • Manages budgeting and reporting.
  • Develops monetization opportunities for including media inventory, valuation and placements, media kit etc.
  • Coordinates with advertiser on creative assets for media placements.
  • Develops analysis and reporting for advertiser on their campaign performance.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred or relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing B2C digital advertising campaigns with responsibility for management of a multi-million-dollar media budget and ROI.
  • Media agency or in-house agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Traditional media buying experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the credit union industry is a plus.
  • Proven experience driving online lead generation with paid media.
  • Experience with direct network buying as well as programmatic advertising including DSPs, SSPs and ad exchanges.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical and quantitative reasoning - ability to identify business questions and conduct data analyses to find answers.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel/Sheets. Adept with pivot tables, vlookups, queries, and formula building for text manipulation and data analysis.
  • Experience with Google analytics and developing reporting in Google Data Studio.
  • Expert level of proficiency in paid search, paid display, paid social and programmatic. Hands-on experience with most digital acquisition channels required.
  • Innovative thinker with proven experience using data to assess channel opportunities across the digital landscape and ability to quickly assess feasibility and scale programs.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and project management skills.
  • Individual should be curious, nimble and have a test and learn/continual optimization mindset.
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal), comfortable and confident in communicating the results of a large, national campaign in front of C-level stakeholders.
