The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra (WCO), a sixty-two-year-old non-profit arts organization in Madison, WI, seeks a full-time Personnel & Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team to assist the orchestra in successfully executing world-class performances and managing concert performances across Wisconsin.

We are looking for someone who is looking to grow in your arts administration career alongside a vibrant and entrepreneurial organization. The Personnel & Operations Coordinator is responsible for the human resource management of orchestra personnel, including overseeing application of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, scheduling contract musicians, hiring substitute and extra musicians, coordinating auditions, addressing musician personnel issues, and serving as liaison between musicians and the Music Director, guest artists, and administrative staff. In addition, this position acts as an operations coordinator, assisting with service and event setup, teardown, and planning. This position serves as an integral member of the Artistic Operations staff, contributing to the creation of exceptional music and patron experiences.
What you can expect:

  • Full-time salaried exempt position
  • Starting salary: $36,000–40,000 annually
