This year, it focuses on women of color who are undervalued and marginalized by mainstream society but thriving despite this. This event will be held at the beautifully constructed MyArts Theater. Midwest Mujeres is dedicated to helping all individuals who identify as women tell their stories of economic survival—the real stories of the racial wealth gap. We are directing our focus on first-generation, resilient Mujeres, who will tell us the stories that have helped propel them forward.
