20150512 Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting - Rx Tech Prep

To meet the growing demand for pharmacy technicians, Isabella and Roy Rodriguez have been meeting the needs of both students and pharmacies with Rx Tech Prep, a concentrated 11 week course that prepares students to take the national exam to become certified pharmacy technicians.
 

Working in the pharmacy has been a dream job for Isabella Rodriguez, a licensed practicing pharmacist. So much, that she and her husband, Roy, introduced Rx Tech Prep, five years ago in Rockford, Illinois. The two, who are passionate about helping others, have assisted hundreds of people since the launch of their program. 
 

Rx Tech Prep covers topics such as pharmacy law, prescription interpretation, pharmacy calculations, drug information, and compounding practices.  The program also includes leadership development headed by Roy Rodriguez, who helps people discover their true potential.

Rx Tech Prep classes are taught by pharmacists, and they meet four hours once a week for 11 weeks.  Summer classes begin on Tuesday, June 9^th, and the online program has an open enrollment. 

We will be celebrating with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12^th 2015 at 5250 East Terrace Drive, Madison.
